| President says Seychelles to benefit from COMESA

June 13, 2009 – It is important that Seychelles, as a member of COMESA
(Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa), does not miss out on the wealth
of opportunities that regional groupings can bring for our country.
This was said by President James Michel yesterday upon his return from Victoria
Falls, Zimbabwe, where he attended the 13th COMESA heads of states and governments.
He told the national media at the airport that Seychelles stands to benefit from
a wealth of opportunity and cooperation within COMESA.
