The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Dr Patrick Herminie, sends a message of condolence to His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
In his message, President Dr Herminie, stated:
“It is with profound sadness that I learned of the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, former Amir of the State of Qatar.
On behalf of the government and the people of the Republic of Seychelles and on my behalf, I extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to your Highness, the Royal Family and the people of the State of Qatar during this time of mourning.
The late Amir's contributions to the development and prosperity of modern Qatar were immense and will be remembered with deep respect. He was also a valued friend of Seychelles, whose enduring goodwill towards our nation will always be cherished.”
