February 21 2011 -- A large crowd, including President James Michel, watched league champions St Michel and cup winners St Louis Suns on Saturday play the first match to launch the 2011 Seychelles football season.

The match for the President's Cup is normally played between the league champions and the cup winners.

St Michel won the match 3-2.

The cup was presented by President Michel who is also the patron of the Seychelles Football Federation.
