President James Michel has congratulated the newly elected President of Zambia, Mr Edgar Lungu on behalf of the people and Government of the Republic of Seychelles.

In the congratulatory message, President Michel has congratulated the Zambian nation and the people of Zambia for holding peaceful and successful elections and smooth transition.

President Michel expressed his desire to strengthen the existing ties between the two countries and forge to create new opportunities in a spirit of solidarity, friendship and co-operation.
