Resignation of Mr Reginald Elizabeth as Commissioner of Police

President Danny Faure has announced that Mr Reginald Elizabeth has written to him to resign from his position as Commissioner of Police from 7th October 2017.
Mr Elizabeth, who is presently 62, was appointed Commissioner of Police on 17th June 2016, upon the retirement of Mr Ernest Quatre.
The President met with Mr Elizabeth today, to thank him for his 45 years of service, and to congratulate him on his distinguished record, and for his devotion and professionalism throughout.
