President Faure starts weekly exercise initiative

The President of the Republic, Mr Danny Faure, started a weekly exercise initiative at Stad Popiler today evening, to bring awareness to the importance of regular exercise in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

President Faure is encouraging others to start a similar initiative in their routines. He was joined by the Minister for Health, Mr Jean-Paul Adam, who emphasised that the best medicine is prevention. Minister Adam highlighted the importance of exercising regularly, and providing an example to the younger generation in staying active and healthy.

President Faure was joined by Vice-President Vincent Meriton, several Cabinet Ministers, members from the Seychelles People’s Defence Forces, members of the Seychelles Police Force, members of the Seychelles National Youth Council, management staff from both the Ministry for Health and the Health Care Agency, staff from the National Sports Council, and staff from STC.
