President Faure to undertake State Visit to India

Following the invitation extended to him by the President of India, His Excellency Mr Ram Nath Kovind, President Danny Faure will undertake his first State Visit to India from 22 to 27 June 2018.

President Faure will visit Ahmedabad in Gujarat and Goa, before the State Visit on 25 and 26 June 2018, and meet regional leadership. In Ahmedabad, he will visit prestigious institutions of higher learning including the Indian Institute of Management, and the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University. In Goa, he will visit the Indian Naval Air Station. President Faure will then go to New Delhi where he will meet the President, the Vice-President, and other high level officials. The President will also hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Mr Narendra Modi.

  • Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Barry Faure

  • High Commissioner of the Republic of Seychelles to the Republic of India, Ambassador Philippe Le Gall

President Faure will leave the country on 21 June 2018, and will be back in office on 28 June 2018.
