In accordance with the recommendations of the Constitutional Appointments Authority, President Danny Faure has today appointed Judge Mohan Burhan as the Acting Chief Justice during the absence from the Republic, on overseas mission, of Chief Justice Dr Mathilda Twomey, from 3rd to 9th March 2019.
