President Danny Faure has sent a message of condolence to the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Abdul Hamid, upon the tragic impacts and devastation caused by cyclone Fani.

“The government and people of Seychelles join me in extending our sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Bangladesh and we pray each and every one affected by this unprecedented tragedy, courage and strength during this difficult and painful period” said the President in his message.

President Faure further added “We are certain that the strong spirit of the Bangladeshi people will fortify all the efforts to restore a sense of normalcy and heal from this tragic event.”
