President Danny Faure today chaired a meeting of the Leaders’ Forum which comprises the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Leader of the Opposition, and the Leader of Government Business in the National Assembly, as well as President himself and the Vice-President.

The Vice-President was absent at today’s meeting, as he is on overseas mission. 

The Attorney General and his senior legal drafters also attended today’s meeting which focused primarily on Government’s proposed priority legislation, to be considered by the National Assembly during the remainder of 2019.
