President Danny Faure chaired a scheduled meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday 27th November, at which a number of legal and policy memoranda were considered.
Cabinet approved the mentorship programme to assist occupants of new housing estates.
Cabinet approved regulations for the implementation of Tax Changes Announced in the Budget for 2020.
Cabinet also approved amendment to the excise tax structure on beer and stout, where these products will as of the 1st of February 2020, be taxed on an incremental basis according to their alcoholic percentage ranges.
Cabinet approved for Seychelles to join the SADC Protocol on Industry.
Cabinet approval for Seychelles’ accession to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York, 1958).
Cabinet approved recommendation for Compensation for the Petit Paris Resident Claimants.
Cabinet considered the recommendations contained in the report following the 2019 Primary Health Care Conference and approved the implementation of the road map.
