On behalf of the people of Seychelles and on his personal behalf, Dr. Patrick Herminie, President of he Republic of Seychelles, extends his heartfelt congratulations to Angélique Adeline and Hillary Nourrice on their remarkable achievement in winning the gold medal in beach volleyball at the CAVB Zone 7 Tournament, held on 2nd November 2025 in Comoros.
Their victory stands as a shining testament to their talent, determination, and the unwavering Seychellois spirit. They have carried the nation’s flag with pride, inspired the youth, and united the country through their outstanding performance on the international stage.
President Herminie said that this victory is particularly close to his heart, as he personally contributed to making their participation possible. Their success therefore represents not only a proud national moment, but also a personal source of great joy and satisfaction.
This golden triumph is also a tribute to the dedication of their coaches, the Seychelles Volleyball Federation, and all who supported them throughout their journey.
