President Danny Faure received the newly elected  Archbishop of the Indian Ocean Province, Archbishop James Wong, at State House this morning.

The President met with Archbishop Wong to personally convey his congratulations to him on his recent election as the Archbishop of the Indian Ocean Province.

During the meeting, the Archbishop shared with the President what his new responsibilities entail and what his election signifies for Seychelles in relation to  bolstering greater visibility in the region for the Anglican Diocese of Seychelles and the country.

Archbishop Wong also expressed his appreciation to the President for the congratulatory message sent on his election and thanked him for making the time to receive him at State House.
