President Danny Faure will be travelling to Nairobi, Kenya to attend the first ever Global High-Level Conference on the Global Sustainable Blue Economy, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kenya, President Uhuru Kenyatta. The Conference will be held from 26 to 28 November 2018.

Kenya and co-hosts Canada and Japan are hosting the first global forum to advance conversation on the blue economy. Over 11,000 participants across various sectors will meet to discuss topics under three main categories: creating economic growth that is inclusive and sustainable, ensuring healthy and productive oceans, and building safe and resilient communities.

President Faure will be out of office from 26 November 2018 to 29 November 2018.
