On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles, President James Michel has transmitted a letter of condolence to His Highness Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, as forty-five Emirati soldiers lost their lives as part of the Arab coalition forces in Yemen.
In his message President Michel noted "as part of the Arab coalition forces they paid the ultimate price and their sacrifice was so that the people of Yemen and the region could have a brighter future of peace and stability." He added "those true patriots will not be forgotten."
