Governor Caroline Abel wins Central Bank Governor of the Year Award

Miss Caroline Abel, the Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles has been awarded the Central Bank Governor of the Year Award in the 2020 African Banker Award Event which was held virtually yesterday 26th August 2020.
The African Banker Awards are designed to recognize the reforms, modernisation, consolidation, integration and expansion of Africa’s banking and financial system. They highlight the achievements of companies, institutions and individuals that contribute to the transformation and development of Africa’s financial sector.
President Danny Faure expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Miss Abel on winning this Award. He said that he was delighted that her hard work, dedication and professionalism had been internationally recognised. He said all Seychellois were proud of Miss Abel’s achievement, which should serve as a motivation and an example for all institutions in Seychelles to always aim for excellence.
