Male, Maldives, 11 June 2023: The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs Linda Ramkalawan arrived in Maldives this afternoon for a three-day State visit. 

President Ramkalawan was welcomed at the Velana International Airport by the Maldives Minister for Foreign Affairs, H.E Abdulla Shahid and other senior Maldivian government officials. 

Other members of the Seychelles delegation attending the State visit includes, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Mr Sylvestre Radegonde, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Seychelles to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Ambassador Claude Morel and the Director General for Bilateral Affairs Division from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ms Lindy Ernesta.
