The Office of the President has today announced the appointment of the new Public Health Authority (PHA) Board and its Appeals Board.

Dr Conrad Shamlaye has been re-appointed as the Chairperson and Mr Jude Shroff is the new Vice-Chairperson of the PHA Board

The other Members are:

Ms Zarine Udwadia                                  

The Members of the Public Health Appeals Board are:

Ms Shireen Denys 

Ms Rosie Morel            

Mrs Vereine Louis-Marie                     

In accordance with Section 22 (6) of the Public Health Authority Act, 2013, the Members of the Appeals Board shall elect amongst themselves a Chairperson.

The Members of both Boards have been appointed for a 3-year period effective from the 1st January, 2024.

The President has also thanked the outgoing Members for their period of tenure.
