Venezuela's first ambassador to Seychelles

September 29, 2010 -- The first ambassador of Venezuela to Seychelles is Mr Antonio Montilla Saldivia.
He presented his credentials to President James Michel at State House yesterday morning when they also discussed fields in which the two countries could explore possible cooperation, including education and culture.
Mr Saldivia said it is important for the two countries to develop and build their cultural relations "for the people of Venezuela and the people of Seychelles to know each other better".
Seychelles and Venezuela established diplomatic relations in April 1991.
The ambassador is based in Pretoria, South Africa.
