President Ramkalawan to undertake first State Visit to Mauritius

The President of the Republic, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan will undertake a three day State Visit to Mauritius at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Mauritius H.E Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.

This marks the first State Visit to be undertaken by President Ramkalawan, since taking office and presents an opportunity to further strengthen the long standing excellent bilateral ties that exist between the two island nations.

The President will be accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs Linda Ramkalawan, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Mr Sylvestre Radegonde, the Commander of Seychelles Coastguard, Colonel Simon Dine, the Director for World Affairs and Countries, Ms Patsy Moustache and the Senior Officer of the Seychelles' Anti Narcotics Bureau, Mr Yves Leon.  

The President will leave the country on 29 November and will return on 2 December 2020.

Inline with Public Health Authority guidelines during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the necessary health advice and precautionary measures are being observed to ensure the safe departure and return of the delegation.
