The Republic of Seychelles today formally welcomed Her Excellency Ms. Morakot Janemathukorn as the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, during an official accreditation ceremony held at State House.
His Excellency President Wavel Ramkalawan received Ambassador Janemathukorn’s letters of credence and extended his warm congratulations on her diplomatic appointment. In his remarks, President Ramkalawan reaffirmed Seychelles’ commitment to strengthening its longstanding and dynamic partnership with Thailand.
Discussions during the ceremony highlighted key areas of mutual interest and collaboration, including environmental conservation, tourism development, trade and investment, educational exchanges, and enhanced people-to-people relations. Both parties expressed a shared vision for expanding bilateral cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration that would bring tangible benefits to the peoples of both nations.
“We look forward to working closely with Thailand to advance our shared priorities and deepen our cooperation across multiple sectors,” said President Ramkalawan.
The occasion underscored the importance both countries attach to diplomatic engagement and their shared dedication to fostering a productive and mutually beneficial relationship.
