August 23, 2010 -- Forty-eight young people who completed the President's Award programme were presented with their certificates and pins during a State House ceremony on Saturday.
President James Michel said the scheme is an example of the many concrete ways available through which our youth can develop their potential. He noted that it is 10 years since the programme was accepted as part of the International Award Association and over that time has had the positive effect of moulding our young people. The programme, he added, offers a wide range of well-established activities that ensure those who take part get the chance to develop their potential.
