Government gives assurance of continuity of Airport Services

The President and the Cabinet of Ministers, at its meeting held today, Thursday 26th, were apprised of new developments regarding Air Seychelles whereby APEX Corporate Trustees (UK) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court of Seychelles to declare the National airline insolvent and to wind up its operations.

The President and relevant Ministers will meet the Board of Directors of Air Seychelles tomorrow, Friday, to discuss the matter and chart a way forward.

The President and the Cabinet renewed their commitment to take all necessary measures to support the employees of Air Seychelles.

At the moment, and as the case is heard in the Supreme Court, Government wishes to reassure everyone, especially stakeholders, that all measures are being put in place to ensure that all airport services will continue as normal and with no disruption.
